What is the MarchMingle?
The MarchMingle is a vibrant international non-competitive festival of personal challenge, social functions and intercultural connection. Through shared experiences, conversations, and the simple act of walking and talking with each other, the MarchMingle sows the seeds of new friendships and deepens understanding, contributing to a more peaceful and enriched global community.
Surrounded by bushland and home to 113 foreign representations, including 103 full diplomatic missions, Canberra’s diverse community serves as the inspiration and theme for the MarchMingle; an event that celebrates cultural diversity and promotes peace by fostering cross-cultural friendship and understanding.

Saturday - AussiePeaceWalk - Day One
From 7am
42.2km Mingle Marathon
The 2026 AussiePeaceWalk Mingle Marathon will be mostly on trails through bushland, so you will need to wear good trail footwear. Entry fee includes bus transfer to the start point and you will walk back to finish at the Event HQ.
From 8:30am
21km HalfMingle
The 2026 HalfMingle Marathon will be half on trails through bushland and half on hard surfaces. Entry fee includes bus transfer to the start point and you will walk back to finish at the Event HQ.
From 10:30am
12km MoseyMingle
Entry fee includes bus transfer to the start point and you will walk back to finish at the Event HQ.
From 11:30am
7km CharityMingle
The Saturday CharityMingle will start at Nara Park and end at Event HQ. A bus will take participants to the start point and the event will finish at Event HQ.
Sunday - AussiePeaceWalk - Day Two
From 8:30am
24km Mountain Mingle
This will be an all new route. A bus will take participants to the start point and the event will finish at Event HQ.
From 10:30am
12km MoseyMingle
A bus will take participants to the start point. This walk is half of the new 24km route.
From 11:30am
7km CharityMingle
A bus will take participants to the start point. This walk will be the last 7km of the new 24km route.
From 4:30pm
Closing Ceremony and Farewell Function
If you have booked to attend the Closing Ceremony and Farewell Function, busses will be on rotation from 3pm to 4:30pm to take participants from the NFSA to the Hotel Realm for the Closing Ceremony and Farewell Function.
