This is Your Opportunity to be Part of the Australia’s International Walking Festival
The CharityMingle is the most accessible option in Australia’s International Walking Festival. At 7km, it’s designed to welcome walkers of all ages and abilities, making it the perfect introduction to the festival or an ideal choice for those seeking a meaningful, manageable distance.
Ready for more?
The festival also offers longer distances for those seeking a greater challenge, with two 12km walks, a 21km, a 24km, and the 42.2km marathon walk options. Whatever your fitness level or challenge you want, there’s a walk for you.
Get ready to represent your cultural heritage and mingle with others at the intercultural Saturday CharityMingle.

A Celebration of Global Unity
The Canberra CharityMingle is truly an international event. Locals will walk alongside participants from around the world, creating a vibrant tapestry of cultures and traditions. Each walker proudly representing their country or cultural heritage by wearing traditional clothing or carrying a small flag on their clothing or backpack.
Imagine a sea of colours, patterns, and symbols from every corner of the globe, all united in one meaningful community event.
It’s a beautiful reminder that while we come from different places, we walk together toward a common goal.
Mingle Walks are NOT races
Mingle Walks are about connection, not competition. This event is an opportunity to get outdoors and experience Australia’s National Capital with like-minded community members. Walk at your own pace, stop to chat, take in the scenery, and enjoy the journey.
It’s about the people you meet and the memories you make along the way.
Sign up for the CharityMingle and get ready to have a blast while supporting a great cause.
You can take part on either the Saturday 7km or the Sunday 7km or do both.
A great event for the whole family.
Walking for Vulnerable Youth
The 2026 CharityMingle proudly supports the Rotary Vulnerable Youth Project, helping to create positive pathways and opportunities for young people facing challenges in our community.
Every step you take makes a real difference in the lives of youth who need support the most.
Walk with purpose: Your entry in the 7km CharityMingle will help our vulnerable youth, but you can also support another charity by set-up a fundraising page to support a charity of your choice.
