MoseyMingle Twin Walks 12km + 12km
Discover Canberra’s Natural Beauty in the MoseyMingle: The Bush Capital’s Easiest Two-Day Walking Challenge.
Discover Our Capital City
So you think Canberra is all roundabouts and national institutions?
People love Australia’s capital for its abundant green spaces and natural beauty. The MoseyMingle is a weekend event with two 12km walks, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, exploring different areas of this picturesque capital city.

A great event for the whole family, or your club or work group.
New Walks For 2026
This is a two-day event that will take you on scenic walks around some beautiful areas of the National Capital.
Not only will you enjoy the fresh air, the stunning views and the friendly atmosphere of this unique challenge, but you will also be taking part in an event that attracts visitors from many parts of the world.
If you complete both 12km walks on the weekend of the Aussie Peace Walk, we will recognise your effort with the Aussie Peace Walk two-day walker medal. If you’ve done the Aussie Peace Walk before and you already have the medal, you’ll receive the 2026 bar to add to your existing medal.
You can walk on both days (the MoseyMingle) or you do just the Saturday or the Sunday 12km walk.
Make the most of your involvement by registering to support one of these great charities.
What country will you represent?
Share Your Heritage and Be Part of The Fun
Enjoy walking with participants from around the world.
Many people wear a shirt with flag or add a small flag to a daypack or hat. Some wear colourful clothing that identifies their favourite destination or their cultural heritage.
The idea is to meet others, chat, make friends, learn about other nations and their culture. Let’s embrace our differences as you walk along together.
Peace comes from understanding and what better way to get to know another culture than to walk along chatting with someone from another land?

Get Your Two-Day Walk Medal
If you complete two consecutive walks, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, totaling 24km or more, you’ll earn the AussiePeaceWalk Two-Day Walk medal with the year bar.
If you’ve received the medal in past years, you’ll get the new 2026 bar to add to your medal ribbon. Each bar has the year on one side and an Australian native animal on the reverse.
If this is your 5th AussiePeaceWalk, you’ll also get the AussiePeaceWalk 5-Year Walker patch.
